The Daily Star has had a look at the nine most shocking moments throughout the final three episodes.

Meghan describes herself as a 'foreign organism'

The Duchess of Sussex referred to the Royal Family as a "fish swimming perfectly, on the right current" before she joined as a "foreign organism".

She said that her arrival led to the "entire thing" going "um, what is that, what is it doing here, it doesn't look like us, it doesn't move like us, we don't like it, get it off of us".

The royal bombshell, dropped by Meghan within the first two minutes of the fourth episode, hinted at the shocking revelations that followed in the coming scenes.

Buckingham Palace officials felt 'incredibly threatened' by Meghan's popularity

Another huge claim from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was that Meghan's royal tour to Australia left members of The Firm frustrated at how well-received she had been by crowds.

Prince Harry explained that his wife was "stealing the limelight" despite the fact she was only meant to be a “supporting act”.

Clips showed crowds of royal fans chanting Meghan's name and said the establishment saw this as a challenge, with Harry adding that she was "doing the job better than someone who is born to do this".

Warring relations between Harry and William's press teams

Prince Harry says he was left "heartbroken" after his brother's aides traded out stories at his expense despite vowing it was something they would "never do".

According to the Duke of Sussex, a briefing battle broke out between different camps within Buckingham Palace.

He fumed: "To see my brother's office copy the very same thing that we promised the two of us would never ever do, that was heartbreaking."

Whilst in the final episode, a frustrated Meghan says: "I am not going to say anything about your brother, because he is your brother, but it is so obvious" with her husband adding: "All comms teams try to outdo each other."

Queen Elizabeth invited Harry and Meghan but was blocked by officials

Harry and Meghan gladly accepted an invite from the late Queen to come and visit her – but the monarch reportedly cancelled at the last minute.

She rang Harry and told him that she had been told she was "actually busy all week" after she was briefed by Buckingham Palace insiders.

The Duchess of Sussex accused insiders within The Firm of "blocking a grandson from seeing his grandmother" to prioritise public relations.

King Charles 'leaked stories' to the press including bombshell announcement

In one of the most damaging allegations throughout the whole Netflix series, Prince Harry accuses his dad of leaking stories to the press after asking him to put his decisions to move to Canada and drop the Sussex title in writing.

He explained that just five days after telling King Charles, it was in the newspaper and became a public debate.

"It became clear that the institution leaked the fact we were moving to Canada… the main thing that made me aware the letter to my father had been leaked was that (reports said) we were willing to relinquish our Sussex titles, that was the giveaway," Harry added.

Prince William 'screamed and shouted' at Harry as Queen 'sat there quietly'

The Duke of Sussex admitted that a huge "wedge" emerged between him and his brother after a disastrous Sandringham summit where they discussed his future.

He accused the future King of yelling in front of the monarch and added that Charles was not being truthful during the exchange.

"It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father saying things that simply weren’t true, and my grandmother quietly sitting there and taking it all in," he claimed.

"The saddest part of it was the wedge created between me and my brother, so that he’s on the institution side."

Harry and Meghan decide not to reveal mysterious text from William

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex opted to keep a message from the Duke of Cambridge secret after they appeared on Oprah Winfrey, despite Netflix cameras filming the pair as they received it.

But despite the intriguing moment, the scene frustratingly comes to an end with Meghan declaring: "Let’s take a breather, get some air and then decide."

Harry did not want to talk about family issues at funeral

The troubled prince said it was "hard" to return and spend time chatting with Prince William and Charles, who were focused on a "misinterpretation of the whole situation".

He admitted "none of us wanted to have to talk about it at my grandfather's funeral" but conversations still went ahead.

But Harry claimed it didn't go to plan as he had to "make peace" with never getting "genuine accountability or genuine apology".

A final attack to bring the explosive six-part series to its conclusion

In a highly unusual move, the Netflix series responded to a legal reply from one of the Cambridge's aides by rebutting the claims.

In response to a statement from Mr. Knauf, who insisted he had been asked to provide evidence to court over the publishing of a letter between Meghan Markle and her dad Thomas, a statement declared his claims are "disputed".

The move ensured that the final revelation throughout the whole six hours shone the spotlight once more on claims that officials working with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had briefed against the Sussexes.
