Bergen stabbing: Police seal off major square after reports of ‘several injured’ in Norway

Police were called to the area at 2.17pm local time, following reports several people had been stabbed. The police are currently searching for anyone who was injured in the incident, that took place at Danmarksplass, a popular square in the city of Bergen.

Locals report that two people have been injured and one arrest has been made.

One witness said they saw a woman holding a knife. 

A number of police patrols, ambulances and fire trucks have rushed to the scene. 

Nine ambulances are in attendance. 

West police district asks the public to contact them if they have any information about the incident.
