Best pal of carer, 21, found dead on beach speaks out on her quest for answers
The best friend of an "amazing" carer found dead on the beach aged just 21 is seeking answers on what happened to her pal, SussexLive reports.
Tragic Blessing Olusegun was discovered on a beach near Galley Hill in Bexhill, East Sussex, early in the morning on September 18.
Her friend Christiana Sofolabo has spoken out about her quest for what happened to her.
The 22-year-old said: "I’m getting there, I’m focusing on trying to help the family. She has a younger brother who is about five years old.
"They were very close, it's hard for him and her mother right now.
"Even though it's been a month, it's hard because she was the most amazing person you'll ever meet. She was very independent, spiritual and family oriented.
“If you were in need she would help you no matter what, even if she had just £1, she would use it to help you. As long as you're happy, she's happy.
“Her quote was: 'I’m living my best life’ – she was so carefree and vibrant.
“She was always there for anybody, no matter what."

Blessing studied business management part-time at university and had hoped to run her own beauty business.
The last time Christiana spoke to Blessing was the night before her body was discovered.
She said: "She was saying to me she couldn't sleep and that she wanted to go for a walk.
"I offered to stay on the phone but she said: 'Never mind'.

"To me she was fine, perfectly happy. She was in a good place I thought.
“She was a happy person and she was a free person. It was so sudden, that's why we want her death to be properly investigated.”
Blessing's body was found by a dog walker on the beach.
Christiana said that the cause of death is thought to be drowning and is not being treated as suspicious, but she and Blessing's family are hoping for further answers.

She said: When I found out I was in utter shock. It’s very distressing. Seeing her mum like that was the worst for me.
“We were very close, we would call each other sisters.
"I want Blessing to just be at peace and to know we’re trying to find answers.
“We’ve arranged her funeral but we want the investigation to be done properly first.
“We miss her and we love her – we will continue to love her and she will never be forgotten.”
Christiana said there were three CCTV images that showed Blessing walking in the early hours of the day she died.
Christiana has started a gofundme page, which has raised more than £8,000 since it was created on September 29.
