Harry and Meghans dig at Cambridges with neutral statement at end of doc
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fired off a final parting shot at Prince William and Kate Middleton in their new Netflix documentary with a "neutral" statement at end of doc statement at the end.
Much of the series’ final episode discussed Meghan’s legal battle with Associated Newspapers which saw her accuse the publishers of the Mail On Sunday of leaking a private letter to her father.
At the end of the controversial new series, Harry and Meghan posted a reply to a letter from a senior aid to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Jason Knauf.

They initially post part of a statement from Knauf himself, who claimed he was “asked to provide evidence by both The Duchess of Sussex and Associated Newspapers.”
Knauf was previously part of the Sussexes team.
He is understood to have been told “evidence in his possession” was important for the trial and claimed to stay neutral in the process, supporting neither side of the debate.
But, in their final shot, the documentary left a parting message penned by the lawyers of Meghan questioning him being a "neutral" witness by being employed by William and Kate..
It read: “The legal team for Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, disputes this claim.
“Mr Knauf was not asked to provide a witness statement by The Duchess or her team.

“Nor do her attorneys believe Mr Knauf remained "neutral" by submitting a witness statement relied on by Associated Newspapers whilst working for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge."
The ruthless late sting pushes back on the claim made by lawyers for Mr Knauf that he was "neutral" in the process.
Discussing the incident in the documentary, Jenny Afia, a partner of Shillings Law firm said: “A senior member of the Duke of Cambridge’s team came forward to give this witness statement which wasn’t required.”
Then, Harry, Meghan and an aide are picked up discussing the move from Knauf and the relationship it might have had with the Duke of Cambridge.
Meghan is heard saying: “He’s your brother. I am not going to say anything about your brother, but it is so obvious.”
The statement came amid various other bombshells dropped in the documentary.

Perhaps most noticeable was Harry's discussion of how different royal's press offices would "trade" stories with the media in order to deflect bad press from their principal.
He explained how teams would “leak” and “plant” stories in “trades” to get rid of a “negative story about their principal” in exchange for “something about someone else’s principal.”
Discussing the grim trend Harry said: “I would rather get destroyed in the press than play along with this game or this business of trading.
“And to see my brother’s office copy the very same thing that we promised the two of us would never do, that was heartbreaking.”
