Horrifying moment plane crashes into car and erupts in ball of flames
A fatal plane crash was captured on video after a single-engine aircraft fell from the sky and slammed into a car.
The accident, which left three dead and one other injured, was recorded on a doorbell camera in a residential area near North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines, Florida, some 20 miles north of central Miami in the US.
The six-seater Beechcraft Bonanza plunged from the sky at around 3pm local time on Monday, March 15.
After hitting the ground, the plane skidded a short distance, striking an overhead power cable before colliding with a vehicle carrying a woman and a young child.
Eyewitness Annabelle Fernandez, who lives near the junction of Southwest 72nd Avenue and 13th Street told NBC Miami: “We heard a tremendous noise and we went out and everybody was on fire, everything was bad.
”It got to the car. It was a mother with her kid and we don’t know what happened to them. The fire rescue came and they got them.”
Burning aviation fuel spilled across the road, reaching the front yard of Florida resident Salah Elshaer, who called the emergency number 911.
