Niece of Irans supreme leader calls him Hitler for child-killing regime

The niece of one of the world's most hated leaders has likened her uncle to murderous despot Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.

Farideh Moradhkani is the niece of Iran's under-fire Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Khamenei is currently facing protests from the people of Iran due to the way women are treated in the nation.

And he has also been slammed for his constant barrage of antisemitic tweets on social media.

But in a rare move, his niece spoke out against him in a video shared by her brother, France-based Mahmoud.

According to a translation by CNN, she says in the video: “Oh free people, be with us and support us so that your governments stop supporting this murderous and child-killing regime.

This regime is not loyal to any of its religious principles and does not know any rules except force and maintaining power.

"Now is the time for all free and democratic countries to recall their representatives from Iran as a symbolic gesture and to expel the representatives of this brutal regime from their countries.”

She pointed to how, in the last 70 years, many despotic leaders who act in the same way as her uncle have fallen because of the despicable way they treat their population.

She said: “Isn't the experience of Hitler, Mussolini, Ceaușescu, Qadhafi, Saddam Hussein, Khomeini, and, most recently, Khamenei, enough to make the world contemplate a new path?"

Khomeni has chosen to wage a violent war on anyone protesting in his country after the death of Mahsa Amini, 22, earlier this year.

She died in police custody after she was arrested for breaking strict hijab rules.

Ms Moradkhani fled her home country in the 1980s to Iraq.

She spent eigh months in the Evin Prison from October 2021 after praising Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi who was ousted by the 1979 Islamic Revolution, The Mirror reports.

She was detained in the notorious Evin Prison and released on April 30, 2022.
