Police officers rushed to hospital after car collides with taxi in horror crash

Five police officers have been taken to hospital after a crash involving their patrol car.

The incident occurred in Dartford town centre in Kent around 3.20am this morning, September 12.

The police are urging witnesses to come forward, after the crash involving a Kent Police patrol car and a white Toyoya Prius taxi took place.

All of the officers were taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries of "varying severity", according to the police, none of which are believed to be life-threatening.

No serious injuries were sustained by anyone who was travelling in the taxi.
