Prince Harry and Prince William ‘reconnected over Christmas’, expert says

Royal brothers Prince Harry and William are said to have 'reconnected' over Christmas when they exchanged presents, a royal expert claims.

The siblings are now reportedly "regularly video calling" each other, with claims they did not speak for several months after the Sussexes split from the Royal Family last year.

Prince Harry admitted the brothers were on "different paths".

Royal expert, Katie Nicholl, told Entertainment Tonight: "Fast forward to today, the relationship is much better than it was.

"For a start, they are on talking terms, and not only on talking terms, they do speak relatively regularly.

"They were very much in touch over the holidays."

However, she said the relationships between the brothers might never be as close as it was before Megxit.

Royal biographer Robert Lacey claimed the "long-term solution" to the rift between the siblings was simply for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to "enjoy the freedom of America", while the Cambridges dedicate their life to duty.

He said: "At least he had this duty, this responsibility to be King, the future monarch, and he had to live up to that."

Harry, 36, and Meghan Markle, 39, are currently living in their £10million mansion in Santa Barbara with their son Archie, one.

They announced they were stepping back as senior royals in March last year.

Kate Middleton, 38, and Prince William, 38, have been at the forefront of the Royal Family's response to the unfolding Covid-19 crisis in the UK.

They have spent most of the pandemic at their Norfolk home of Anmer Hall with their children Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two.

Yesterday, it was reported the Queen has invited Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to her 95th birthday celebrations in the first royal reunion since Megxit.

Queen Elizabeth, 94, is said to be keen to get "back to business" amid the pandemic which has killed millions worldwide.

She has invited Meghan and Harry to join her for Trooping the Colour in London, on June 12 to mark her official birthday.

Royal aides reportedly told the publication that as the event is both an official and a "family occasion".
