Russia was rocked as Ukrainian drones battered the city that houses its southern military command centre.<\/p>\n
Rostov-on-Don plays a key strategic part in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. But in the early hours of September 7 it was battered by Ukraine’s latest drone attack.<\/p>\n
One person has been reported as injured, three buildings were damaged, and several cars targeted during the attack. It is currently unclear what buildings were hit.<\/p>\n
Telegram sources suggest the military building could have been one of those struck by the drone blasts.<\/p>\n

The city is located around 100km east of the border with Ukraine, reports the Guardian.<\/p>\n Golubev said one of the drones crashed down just outside Rostov. While the other fell \u201cin the centre, in the area of \u200b\u200b42 Pushkinskaya Street\u201d.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Rostov-on-Don is the largest city in south Russia. It is the capital of the Rostov region and adjoins eastern Ukraine where the war continues to rage on.<\/p>\n In June the Rostov military HQ was among the buildings that Yevgheny Prigozhin and the Wagner Group sezied control of as they staged a rebellion against the Kremlin.
