The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information from the public regarding a “suspicious death” in Fort Collins.<\/p>\n

At 10:18 a.m., dispatch received a report of a person lying on the Foothills Trail near Horsetooth Reservoir. First responders reported that, when they arrived, the man was dead, according to a release from the department.<\/p>\n
The Larimer County Coroner’s Office has identified the man as 64-year-old Fort Collins resident Paul Gallenstein.<\/p>\n
The release did not include any additional information regarding the cause death but described it as suspicious. The release said that the circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation and no further information will be released at this time.<\/p>\n
Investigators want to hear from anyone who was near the Foothills Trail the morning of Sept. 10 and asked those with information to call Investigator Ryan Adams at 970-498-5174.
