A group of dash diners reportedly ate a lobster and steak lunch before "driving off as fast as you could" away from their \u00a3490 bill.<\/p>\n

The brass-necked gang fled from Stubbs Restaurant in Ashford in Kent after chowing down on calamares, oysters and steak, forcing the establishment into a social media campaign to recoup their losses.<\/p>\n

A bill posted showed the group had starters including three lobster, crab and shrimp cocktails costing \u00a359.95, two crispy brie, at \u00a317.90, calamares at \u00a39.95 and a chicken liver pate at \u00a38.95. They also had two orders of a dozen oysters at \u00a316 each. <\/p>\n

"Please come back and pay your bill! We are a private restaurant and will not survive with you doing this to us," the Facebook statement read.<\/p>\n

"You ate all of your meal and we gave you fabulous service\u2026yet you drove off, as fast as you could, without paying."<\/p>\n

For the main courses they had several lobster dishes including a large lobster thermadore at \u00a372 then three regulars, costing \u00a3144. Then they had a steak at \u00a328 and skate costing \u00a323.95. Drinks on the bill included Malbec, Shiraz and Pinot Grigio wines and Thatchers cider.<\/p>\n

The total bill came in at \u00a3489.90. But the restaurant got plenty of backing from its followers on the social media site.<\/p>\n
