A manufacturing plant in\u00a0Russia has gone up in flames – the latest in a series of explosive incidents at sites used to produce weaponry for Vladimir Putin’s war effort.<\/p>\n
Video circulating on social media shows a huge explosion at Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant, where engines are built for T-72 and T-90 tanks operating on the frontline in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
It is also an important production site for equipment used in Terminator armored fighting vehicles and Moscow’s self-propelled artillery.<\/p>\n
Russian Telegram channel Mash said a transformer exploded, which could cause issues with power supply in the city of Chelyabinsk, located 80 miles north of Kazakhstan in inland Russia.<\/p>\n
The fire has been raging for the past few hours.<\/p>\n
Rescue services have been dispatched to the scene, but as of this writing, no casualties or injuries have been reported or confirmed.<\/p>\n
It is the latest in a string of explosions at key military production sites in Russia.<\/p>\n
