Neighbours were screaming for help as 2 rushed to hospital in house explosion
Those in the vicinity of a house 'explosion' were screaming for help as two people were rushed to hospital after the horror explosion.
Fire crews are currently at the scene of the Tranmere, Birkenhead property after a residential report of an "explosion" at a property on Holt Road.
Properties either side of the affected home have been evacuated while gas and electricity lines have been isolated, per LiverpoolEcho. NWAS Paramedics are currently observing two people who were rushed to hospital.

A statement from Merseyside Fire and Rescue confirmed the incident and said attending officials with a fire engine were on the scene at 07.42 this morning. A building inspector has since been requested to make an observation of the property and those around it.
Their statement read: "Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance at an incident on Holt Road, Tranmere. Crews were alerted at 07.42 with a fire engine from Birkenhead first on scene at 07.47. At the height of the incident there was four fire engines and the aerial appliance in attendance.
"This is a traditional two storey brick built mid terrace property involved in an explosion. Neighbours have stated to Fire Service personnel that all persons were out of the property prior to Fire Service arrival.
"Fire fighting commenced with one hose reel jet being utilised. A building inspector has been requested due to the possible unsafe structures at either side of the affected property, Cadent have also been requested."
Fire and Rescue services on the scene also confirmed the presence of Merseyside Police and North East Ambulance Services. A cordon has since been set up and firefighting activities ceased at 09.26.
Their statement added: "Two firefighters in breathing apparatus utilised one hose reel jet to tackle the affected property which was still involved in fire internally.
"All properties along the road where the affected property is situated have now been evacuated with gas and electrics isolated." One resident claimed 10 people had been "screaming down the phone" to get the fire service to attend the scene.
