Man arrested in fatal Thornton stabbing

Thornton police have arrested one man in connection with a fatal stabbing in the area of West 84th Avenue on Monday night.

Officers responded to the area of 160 W. 84th Ave. at 7:38 p.m. and found a man who had been stabbed multiple times, according to a news release from the Thornton Police Department.

The man was transported to a local hospital, where he died.

Travis Curry, 41, was arrested on the scene without incident and is in custody at the Adams County Detention Facility pending charges.

The victim’s identity will be released by the Adams County Coroner.
